The South Asia Sub-regional Strategic Planning Workshop, the first of the four sub-regional  workshops for the strategic planning process of Caritas Asia, kicked off at Greenwich Hotel, Kathmandu on 29-31 August 2016 , with Caritas Nepal as host. In attendance are the national Executive Directors, Deputy Directors, and Program Officers of Caritas Bangladesh, Caritas India, Caritas Nepal, Caritas Pakistan, and Caritas Sri Lanka. The regional president, Bishop ISAO KIKUCHI, together with some members of the Strategic Planning Team, also takes part in the workshop. The results of the South Asia workshop would be integrated with the results of the other subregional workshops in Southeast Asia, East Asia, and Central Asia, to become the basic foundation of Caritas Asia's next strategic orientations and direction for 2017-2020.
